Erasmus+ BIP in Aquileia and surroundings (19.-25.8.2024)
SAXA LOQVVNTVR – Explore inscribed monuments from Friuli as part of the Erasmus+ BIPS.
During the Erasmus+ BIP, visits to the museums, lapidaries and epigraphic collections of Aquileia and its territory (Grado, S. Canzian d'Isonzo and Villa Vicentina, with excursions to Cividale and Zuglio) are planned, where the individual inscriptions and archaeological finds are analyzed and discussed, and the modalities are illustrated to create sketches, copies and photos of selected inscriptions. Participants will also be instructed to work on some of the monuments themselves in order to familiarize themselves with the epigraphic evidence.
Applications can be submitted directly to the BIP coordinator Prof. Wolfgang Spickermann (Institute of Antiquity).

Application for Joint Master Programmes
In Joint Master's programmes, curricula are developed and offered jointly by several international higher education institutions. This unique combination provides you with valuable insights into cutting-edge scientific approaches from different academic as well as (inter)national aspects. You will spend your Master's degree at at least two of the participating institutions and in many cases you will be awarded a jointly awarded degree (double/joint/multiple degree).

Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund
You would like to start a Master's programme in the next academic year? Then you might be interested in the Arqus Talent Scholarship.
With the scholarship programme, the Arqus European University Alliance is looking for talented postgraduates from all over the world who want to pursue a Master's programme at one of the Arqus partner universities (Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, Wroclaw) with a mandatory mobility at a second Arqus partner university. A minimum of 8 scholarships will be awarded.
The Arqus Talent Scholarship covers the tuition fees at your entrance university and you will receive a monthly stipend of € 1.400,00.
The scholarship programme also provides a Special Needs Fund of € 250 per month for students with fewer opportunities.
The scholarship is intended for the entire study and has a maximum funding period.

Self-organized stays
Your favourite university is not a partner university of the University of Graz? No problem, organise your stay yourself. - Participating in self-organised special courses/summer schools as well as preparing academic work (laboratory work, field research, work in archives/libraries etc.) as part of the bachelor’s/master’s/diploma thesis or dissertation
- Duration: 5 days minimum, up to 10 months (duration of funding)
- Financial support of up to 480 Euro per month
