Erasmus+ Staff mobility (STT) – Outgoing (Programme countries: EU/EEA, MK, RS, TR)

SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Erasmus+ Staff Training action line offers mobility opportunities to academic and non-academic staff to gain knowledge and experience abroad. Members at higher education institutions that hold an Erasmus Charta for Higher Education (ECHE) are eligible to participate. 

The program is open to academic and non-academic staff members of the University of Graz who wish to participate in short term trainings or arrange an individual visit on their own initiative at a partner institution or other organization in eligible program countries. STT mobility may include participation in specialized courses, Staff Training Weeks at other universities, workshops, internships, exchange of know-how within job-shadowing visits or a combination of these.

Eligible program countries: EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, Turkey and North Macedonia

TARGET GROUP

Academic and non-academic staff employed at the University of Graz and not on leave during the time of the mobility.

APPLICATION and DEADLINES

Application:
a) Mobility Agreement for Training confirmed by the host university (scan is sufficient)
b) Application for Erasmus+ funding (in original)

Deadline: You may submit your application at any time yet at least 2 months prior to your mobility. Only complete applications will be considered.

MOBILITY GRANT

Erasmus+ staff mobility is supported by the EU Commission and co-financed by the International Relations' budget of the University. The Erasmus+ mobility grant is a contribution towards the additional costs abroad. Travel and accommodation costs are covered up to the following maximum rates (subject to budgetary coverage):

  • Travel expenses: low-cost flight or 2nd class train rides; for travel by car: reimbursement according to the official km rates
  • Accommodation costs: maximum of Euro 120,-/night

Erasmus+ mobility grants can be awarded for stays up to maximum 2 weeks (subject to budgetary coverage). 

Teaching staff with severe disabilities or exceptional special needs can apply for special EU funds and need to apply to the National Agency.

CONDITIONS & SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Duration: Min. 2 days and max. 2 months (excluding travel days)
    Erasmus+ mobility grants can be awarded for stays up to maximum 2 weeks (subject to budgetary coverage)
  • Employment with the University of Graz (min. 50% employment for part-time staff) 
  • Approved „Mobility Plan“ by the hosting university/organization
  • Statement of support from your direct superior
  • Relevance to the candidate’s field of work and to the Strategic objectives of the University and/or the relevant department/unit. 
  • Order of received applications
  • Non-academic staff, early-stage researchers and first-time participants will be given priority.

An Erasmus+ period abroad can combine teaching and training activities.
Erasmus+ mobilities (STA, STT) are limited to a maximum of three times per person per academic year.
