International Week
Learn all about your many international opportunities and get inspired by our wide range of offers from October 14 to 17, 2024!
Save the Date(s): from October 14 to 17, 2024, our International Week will take place again in the foyer of Graz University Library . This year, too, various topics and focal points of international opportunities will be presented by Graz students throughout the week and all those interested will be given detailed advice on them.
Info sessions and personal advice
Benefit from our mix of different info sessions and the possibility to ask questions personally. While the sessions will focus on different topics throughout the week (e.g. Semester Abroad in Europe or International Internships), you can always ask us your questions about studying abroad in the foyer of the University Library and take home a goodie or two. :)
Also present will be our colleagues from the Career Center of the University of Graz, who will give you tips on how to create an international CV, as well as the team from Weltweit Unterrichten, which informs student teachers about worldwide opportunities for a teaching stay. Our final info session (Thurs. Oct. 17, 2:00 p.m.) on the great opportunities of the ISEP program will be via UniMeet, as our speaking guest joins us live from the US. Click here for the link.
Topics
Semester abroad
From Graz to the whole world: Learn more about our approximately 500 partner universities where you can study abroad for a semester (or even year). In our info sessions you will learn everything from the basic procedures to the different programs that mediate to Europe or worldwide.
International internships
It doesn't have to be a semester - internships abroad also offer valuable experience for your development within a shorter period of time. Visit our info session and take advantage of the opportunity to complete a study-related internship abroad.
Joint Master Programs
A Joint Master is a Master's program in which the curriculum is offered jointly by several international universities. Through different focal points at the respective universities and an associated stay at a partner university, the unique opportunity arises to individually and internationally align a master's program.
CV tips from the Career Center
What about international career opportunities and what to look out for in an international CV? Our colleagues from the Career Center of the University of Graz will be available to answer these questions in a workshop and also offer a live CV check in the UB foyer (see timetable).
Poster and picture exhibition
Sometimes it doesn't even have to be a lecture and a few beautiful pictures are enough to get your own inspiration going. In the foyer of the University Library you will find a lot of visual material, from posters about renowned partner universities of the University of Graz to the best photos and snapshots that students have sent us over the years. Just have a look and go on a great journey in your mind!
Language assistance for student teachers
For students in the teaching profession, our partners from Weltweit Unter richten will provide information on teaching internships, language assistance and Austrian schools abroad. General information about the various opportunities will be explained in info sessions, and there will also be the opportunity to ask questions in person in the Ub foyer (see timetable).
