Self-organized stays

For self-organized stays, in contrast to our exchange programs, you have to find a place for your study or research stay on your own in advance.

This is the case if, for example, you would like to spend a semester abroad at a university that is not a partner of the University of Graz in one of the available programs, or if you would like to do research at another university for a few weeks or months as part of a thesis.

The following programs are available for grants:

Grant for self-organized stays

- worldwide and open to all fields and levels of study
- for attending courses abroad (self-organized)
- in the context of the final thesis
- also for scientific laboratory work or summer schools (not for language courses!)
