During your application and before your start it is necessary to transfer a deposit of EUR 100,- to an account of the University of Graz stating the respective mobility program. After your stay, or in case of a cancellation, the deposit will be returned to you upon proof of the points listed below.
Refund
- After the stay abroad and submission of the required documents (e.g. confirmation of stay, necessary ECTS) of the respective mobility programme
- If the students are not selected for a mobility
- Illness, pregnancy (written evidence, e.g. medical certificate)
- Serious illness or death of direct relatives such as parents, children, siblings, husband / wife, partner (written evidence e.g. medical certificate)
- Course recognition at Uni Graz is not possible: Statement from head of the curricular commission (CUKO) or the coordinator required
- Travel warning from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the country in which you are staying abroad (https://www.bmeia.gv.at/en/)
The deposits will only be paid back to accounts in the SEPA area.
Deposit retention
The deposit will be retained in the following cases:
- Rejection by the host institution due to a self-inflicted failure to meet the application deadline
- Cancellation of stay after submitting the application documents to the Office for International Relations
- Required documents are not submitted on time after the stay (e.g. confirmation of stay, required ECTS)
